Wednesday Zen Moment: Arctic fox saved from certain death on fur farm

From fur farm to fur-ever home.

Spirit was living at a fur farm in New York state when he was rescued. The Arctic fox has now made his way slightly north, across the border into Canada, where he will live out his days at a wildlife sanctuary in Rosseau, Ontario.

“Welcome Spirit, a new addition to our permanent resident family!”  the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary  announced this week. “Spirit is an Arctic Fox rescued from a fur farm in New York State. He is non-releasable and has found his forever home at Aspen Valley!”

Fur coats, after all, look best on animals.
