Thief steals sick kitten from Alberta pet store. (But don’t worry, the cat came back.)

Update: April 13

The catnapped kitten has been returned and is now in care of a veterinarian.

An unidentified person brought the cat, named Kennedy, anonymously back to the pet shop it was stolen from a week ago a day after police issued an A.P.B. for the snatched cat.

“The kitten appeared to be ill at the time of her return,” Mounties aid Friday afternoon. “But is expected to recover through treatment.”

The thief still hasn’t been caught.

“Red Deer RCMP thank the many media outlets and citizens who shared this story so widely and achieved a positive outcome for little Kennedy.”
