Real life Bambi meets Thumper on Vancouver Island caught on video

Disney could not have come up with a better scene.

Tomas Avendano, who lives in Kelowna, British Columbia was recently visiting Comox, on Vancouver Island, when he spotted a real-world meet cute moment.

He was quick to press record as an adorable bunny frolicked with a lone deer in a city park.

Avendano posted the video to Facebook where he called them Bambi and Thumper.

“It’s so adorable,” a woman can be heard saying off camera. “It’s so cute.”

“I’m loving the island life,” Avendano wrote. “#bambi #thumper #findingbalance.”

So are the rabbit and the deer.

The video has been viewed more than 134,000 times.

Avendano told MyComoxValleyNow.com he was surprised by the video’s popularity.

“I was just stoked to share it with my friends, who I knew would really love it,” he said. “It’s awesome to be able to share something that’s made a lot of people smile.”
