Every pet owner knows much much their dog or cat tries to comfort them when they are feeling down.
But what if that empathetic pet isn’t actually yours?
That’s what New Zealand politician Andrew Falloon recently found out.
The Member of Parliament for Rangitata tweeted about the cat that recently made itself at home. Only it wasn’t its home.
“My Dad is recovering from an operation,” he tweeted. “Mum went out and left a door slight ajar.”
“My parents do no have a cat.”
